A lot of companies this year are looking for ways to reduce costs without cutting quality. One of the easiest ways to do that is by ordering in larger quantities, less often.
For example, instead of ordering 100 shirts 12 times a year, ordering 1200 at once or even 600 twice can bring the cost per piece down quite a bit. It is a simple shift, but it can make a big difference over the course of the year.
With larger orders, we can also look at more custom options, including overseas production. This often lowers costs even further while giving you more flexibility with design, materials, and overall look.
One example, we had a client paying $3.90 per pair for socks with very limited customization. By increasing volume and going more custom, we were able to bring that cost down to $3.40 or even $3.00 per pair, while giving them 12 different design options instead of just one.
The goal is not just to save money, but to keep or even improve quality at the same time.
