What Products Do You Order Way Too Much Of Let's Do It For Less
Most companies in 2024 are looking for ways to reduce overall spend and one way to do that is by ordering the same quantity of products, BUT ordering in larger volumes less times throughout the year.
If you order t-shirts 100 shirts at a time 12 times throughout the year, the price will be significantly reduced if you instead order 1200 t-shirts one time OR 600 t-shirts twice. This seems simple, but when you are in the thick of the day-to-day needs, it is not something that is always considered.
With larger quantities, we can also look to go completely custom and manufacture products overseas or elsewhere that you are ordering in larger volumes. Many times by doing this we can reduce costs while also getting MORE custom at the same time.
One stark example that we can use is a restaurant customer of ours was ordering blank socks from one place and getting them screen-printed by someone in their garage. They were getting very limited customization and all of the socks were exactly the same. This restaurant was paying $3.90 per pair. By annualizing this spend we were able to reduce overall costs from $3.90 to $3.40 or $3.00 depending on the volume that they ordered. We were also able to take their socks from one minimally custom style to 12 OPTIONS even with that reduction in price!
We can also look at different qualities of materials to reduce costs, but we'd rather maintain or improve upon existing quality AND reduce cost!
